● PROSEPT® Burs is an anti-corrosive solution for disinfecting and cleaning rotary surgical and surgical instruments.
● PROSEPT® Burs is a ready-to-use disinfectant solution for precision rotary and surgical instruments, such as diamond burs, carbide burs, polishers, and instruments made of stainless steel, tungsten carbide, diamond grit, ceramic, polymer, and silicone. The phenol- and aldehyde-free formula contains corrosion inhibitors that significantly extend instrument life.

Composition per 100 g: 32 g isopropanol, 0.7 g 2-phenoxyethanol, 0.2 g quaternary ammonium compounds, corrosion inhibitors, auxiliaries and water.
Physical state: Clear, non-viscous liquid
Color: Colorless to slightly yellow
Odor: Alcoholic. pH value (ready-to-use solution): 13.0 - 14.0
Expiration date: 36 months (unopened container)
When to use:
For your protection, wear a lab coat, household gloves, and safety glasses. Immerse rotary instruments in the disinfectant solution immediately after use. Observe the indicated contact time, but do not exceed it. After disinfection, allow the rotary instruments to dry. Do not rinse with water. After disinfection, visually inspect the instruments for contaminants. If necessary, remove any contaminants with a brush and repeat the disinfection process. Replace the working solution daily or when it becomes visibly contaminated. The disinfectant solution is also suitable for use in an ultrasonic cleaner. Follow the instrument manufacturer's reprocessing recommendations. Use only with alkaline and alcohol-compatible instruments. Not compatible with aluminum.
