  • For fine lines (liners): Choose brushes with a bristle length of 8–11 mm. Long bristles (11 mm) handle long straight lines and geometry better, as they absorb hand tremors. Short bristles (5–7 mm) are ideal for small strokes and precise details.

  • For a perfect French manicure: Here, a medium length (8 mm) and an extremely sharp tip are key. The brush should be thin from the base so that the "smile line" is crisp and without excess bulk.

3. What to look for when buying?

Test the brush "dry": the bristles should not fan out to the sides. A good brush has a sharp tip, which in a professional setting we call a "needle." If, when lightly pressed, the tip does not return to its original shape, that brush will quickly deteriorate.

4. Care: Key to longevity

Never leave your brush near a lit UV lamp and do not clean it with aggressive liquids. Use a special cleanser or a clear base coat to clean the bristles.
