LUNAmoon Strong Base. Transparent
Strong Base is a hard base coat similar to hard gel in its properties. Ideal for thin nails.
Characteristics:
• Suitable for thin and brittle nails (short to medium length, up to 5 mm free edge). Not suitable for long and twisted nails.
· Strengthens and hardens nails.
· Low acid content, pH 5-6.
· Medium-fluid consistency that allows leveling in seconds.
· It does not spill and self-levels quickly.
It can cause heat and burning in traumatized and very thin nails. It does not cause burning in healthy nails.
· It is easily removed by both filing and with liquid.
· The main rule for leveling is that the thickness should be 1-1.5 mm at the edge.
· It has properties of a base, gel and top coat.
• Hypoallergenic.
· If the sticky layer of this base is removed, it is not necessary to apply a top coat, as it has a good shine.
• Power of the drying lamp: 48 W (must be an original lamp).
Before applying LUNAmoon Strong Base, it is important to apply an elastic base coat such as Rubber Base. Using Rubber Base is recommended.
Application technology:
1️⃣ Withdrawal.
2️⃣ We don't file the shape of the nail. We leave 2 mm of extra length which we will file and remove after leveling.
3️⃣ With a 220 grit file, we sand the top of the nail without much pressure, lifting the flakes from the nail plate, or we use a 100 grit buffer.
4️⃣ Manicure.
5️⃣ If you use removers, wash your hands with soap and water after using them.
6️⃣ Nail degreasing. Do two passes. Use 4 wipes, one for 5 fingers. On the first pass, clean the surface of the nail. On the second pass, use an orange stick with the wipe to clean the cuticle area and the sides of the nail.
7️⃣ Dehydrator.
8️⃣ Apply Ultrabond/Primer. Clean the brush with a lint-free wipe before application. With the brush almost dry, apply the Ultrabond to 5 fingers (free edge and parallel sides). Wait 1 minute for it to absorb into the nail. This step is not mandatory; the base coat works well even without primer and Ultrabond.
9️⃣ Apply a layer of Rubber Base using rubbing motions. Polymerize in a UV lamp for 1 minute, or in an LED/hybrid lamp for 30 seconds.
1️⃣0️⃣ Eliminate stickiness.
1️⃣1️⃣ Leveled with LUNAmoon Acid Strong Base. Dry under lamp for 60 seconds.
1️⃣2️⃣ Sand the shape after leveling. This creates a thickness on the edge that will keep the edge free.
1️⃣3️⃣ After filing, remove the stickiness and apply gel polish or a camouflage base in a thin layer.
1️⃣4️⃣ Apply the Top Coat and dry for 120 seconds. Do not wipe after drying, as it may lose its shine.
